Linguist Discharged From Military for Revealing Sexual Orientation

Under the "Don't ask, don't tell" regulation of the US military, gays have to keep their sexual orientation a secret. CNN reports that when one soldier -- who was fluent in Arabic -- decided to serve as an openly gay soldier, he was discharged.
